Wild Petunia Sustainable Landscapes Projects
This focal point in this Edgebrook front yard was not thriving. We revitalized the Boxwood border, placed a Dwarf Japanese Maple in the center as a focal point and filled in with both evergreen and flowering groundcovers. Curb appeal, much improved!
An overgrown evergreen leaned over the sidewalk between houses. We replaced it with tidy juniper, with visual interest provided by a small grouping of boulders, surrounded by flowering ground cover.
This Homeowner hired Wild Petunia to renovate her front landscape. Overgrown yews dominated the front of this cute house.Wild Petunia reshaped the bed and added a variety of flowering shrubs, evergreens and perennials to vastly improve curb appeal!
Clients wanted the garden bed to be more integrated with the house. We reimagined the shape of the bed, and added a mix of flowering and evergreen shrubs and perennials to make it more inviting and draw the viewer in.
Dead boxwood lined the sidewalk, victims of the Polar Vortex. We remove them, enlarged the bed around the Spruce tree and added a combination of perennials, groundcover, flowering and evergreen shrubs and grasses. We also incorporated additional hardscape along the narrow driveway on both sides to provide a landing spot when stepping out of the car.
The homeowner bought this house on a nice block, but the landscaping had been neglected. We removed all the plant material from in front of the house, replace it with flowering shrubs, grasses, perennials and groundcovers. We also installed a Redbud in the front yard, making it a focal point.
The client wanted low maintenance landscaping, especially in the area at the foot of the back steps. The solution? Perennials, pavers and slate chips. Functional and beautiful!
This front bed needed revitalizing. The Shrubs were not thriving and the roses were overgrown. We replaced the Serviceberry with Dwarf Japanese Maple, added coreopsis for summer-long color.
